  1. How to eat sardines… open can. eat sardines. 😉 You can also: put them on crackers; add them to pasta dishes with garlic and olive oil; eat them with avocado; add them to green salads; prep them like tuna salad; and scramble them up with eggs.

  2. I know I am late to the game but… for anyone who dreads the cottage cheese texture, blend it until smooth. It becomes more like cream cheese.
We grew up eating sardines. We would mix them with a mustard and Tabasco sauce.

  3. I don’t usually like cottage cheese, or I’m still getting used to it, but mixing it in a smoothie with some frozen strawberries and half a banana is simply delicious ! Or instead of milk-/cream in scrambled eggs I use it there and it’s really good!!

  4. Ok…..I’m confused on FATS. Are they good? Are they bad?? 🤷‍♀️ The story keeps changing, ya know? The past two years, I’ve been allowing more fats into my meats and dairies as “healthy fats.”….supposedly. However, I’m at a certain point in my life where weight is coming on more than before. I’ve been putting on weight even though I’m trying to eat mostly good and exercise as best I can, but something has changed in my body (age). Would you consider doing a video on fats and particularly weight loss keeping in mind people’s changing bodies and metabolism….particularly women? If anybody has thoughts on this, I’m open.

  5. A lot of people have already mentioned similar preparations, but for sardines I do onions, lemon juice, and capers. I use the same brand you showed. They are so convenient-already cooked, easy to pack up and take-sardines have been my standby for a while now. Life is busy-and although meal prepping and planning is key-I can’t do old animal protein 🤢, so I never prep my meats. Cooked veggies stay good for a while though, so that helps some.

  6. I like tinned sardines in tomato sauce on toast. ( not keen on the oily one, they repeat on me) Toast 2 slices of good quality brown or sourdough bread. Spread the sardines on toast and add the zest of unwaxed lemon, dash of pepper and a touch of sriracha sauce. So delicious. I accompany the snack with some fresh salad.
