  1. Guys palm oil is actually bad. In school I did a huge project about it and even went to present at a state event about it. People were REALLY surprised to see how dangerous palm oil can be for the environment and people themselves, so let me say something about the affect it can have on people AND the environment.
Environment- Palm oil can cause deforestation which can affect animals since they lose their home. Many species of animals are about to go extinct because of this. Also, farmers burn land just to make room for palm oil crops.
People- Palm oil can cause cancer, aswell as rise your cholesterol, which can quickly lead to heart disease/ heart attacks.
I think this is enough to know, but be careful next time. Now you know the effects it can have. CHECK YOUR FOOD! DON'T CONSUME PALM OIL, IT'S IN A LOT OF DIFFERENT FOODS!! WARNING U!

  2. Thank you for this! I love cooking okra and bean stew for my family to enjoy especially my baby and i have been doing research on the harms of palm oil. It is refreshing to know Palm oil isn’t an evil oil like they try to portray. P.S Charllllleee your garden egg stew looks nice

  3. Red Palm Oil – from the fruit – actually deemed very healthy.
The other deemed unhealthy is not the red one. It's made from the kernel.
When warning people about the unhealthy oil, the difference really should be brought up immediately. I only found out through research.

  4. Remember they think anything African is not good . But just know authentic palm oil is much healthier than extra virgin olive oil. Think about all its minerals and vitamins like all the types of vitamin Es it has.

  5. It’s not about the health of it all. It’s the deforestation and destruction of precious wildlife (orangutans, gorillas tigers etc). I wish people cared a little more for our environment 😢

  6. Just don't ever believe any published by Americans/Europeans about nutrition. These are the same people that let the dairy industry buy a spot on the food pyramid and use toxic coloring like red 40 in 70% of their food. The countries with the highest obesity problems, long standing racism, and want to convince the world their are more than 2 genders.

  7. Yes. And neither is healthy. Saturated fats aren't healthy. The hype around coconut oil is wrong. And palm oil is connected to a hole bunch of environmental problems. It should be avoided wherever possible.

  8. In Nigeria, palm oil is an all round remedy.
Imagine eating poison, they ask u to drink palm oil. This is a very common thing in Nigeria
A friend of mine fell in the gutter and swallowed a lot of it's gewy shits and all they fed him was palm oil and believe me when I tell u that he threw up so much nonsense like he went for a surgical flushing. He slept after and that was it. No extra remedy, he was good to go, never went to the hospital after and he was okay like it works like magic I tell u.
If u eat rotten or spoilt stuff, drink palm oil and u will throw it all up like crazy.
Aside from the many dishes that it is used to make in Nigeria, palm oil is like the go to medicine for any form of harmful intake of substance. If u think it will take long before u get to the hospital, give them palm oil first, trust me it will remove the nonsense causing the problem and seek medical care after for full safety
This is like a basic knowledge in Nigeria
Palm oil is also used to neutralize charms and potions, just pour it on the concotion and whatever was planned or intended to take place with it would be annulled instantly
Palm oil is like a wonder in Nigeria

  9. Both are bad oils. All oil is, but these two are particularly not good. We have to learn to eat a plant based plan, and stay away from those things we know to be bad, no matter their history. You can do it.

  10. All discourse I have heard so far about not using palm oil so much is because of the environmental consequences of monocultures, which oil palms are grown in. For those monocultures, companies destroy natural habitats and biodiverse forests. So Palm oil is not problematic because of it's saturated fat content, but because the farming methods destroy vast areas of natural habitats
