i have to tell someone who gets it. i wore a bikini this summer and actually felt confident. for the first time in probably 10 years. i almost cried lol. i cant even describe the feeling of freedom. all because i finally found something that worked and lost 15kg over the last 4 months. it wasnt a crash diet, it was learning how to balance my blood sugar to stop cravings. let me share what i know: the whole sustainable method was from a book called 'Fat melting formula by Henry Gray'. it didn't just give me my body back, it gave me my life back.

I find keto diet very unhealthy.
I don’t get it, fat and animal products are the most calorie dense foods, some 2800 calories per pound. And zero fiber. why is it better than whole fruits and vegetables some of which are 100 calories per pound. I am just so confused and overwhelmed with so any contradictory theories and even studies and results out here…
I have lost 130 lbs in a year on Keto. That's 60 kg.
I tried lowcarb, LCHF, and Keto (basically the same thing) many times over the years, and I always felt great, I also lost some weight, I knew that it was logical, eating real food, no processed stuff, but it wasn't enough to actually change things for real for me then. I had other issues that kept me from getting the results I wanted. I still overate, I still cheated, or I ate something wrong and fell of the wagon. I binged at times because of emotional needs not being met, I was really mean to myself as well.
But last year, I decided, NO MORE SUGAR, like quitting a drug addiction or alcoholism, I needed to decide to cut it out completely forever. It was a really hard decision to make! But I never regretted it ONCE! It was the best decision of my life!
I was inspired by "the kindness method" after watching a podcast with the author, and then I read her book. (Shahroo Izadi is a Behaviour Change Specialist in private practice; she is the author of the books, ‘The Kindness Method’ and ‘The Last Diet’.)
That book helped me deal with the food addiction and emotional issues. Of course, I'm not being insanely strict about not eating any sugar, just VERY strict xD. Just enough to never trigger my sugar addiction again.
I knew if I only held out for 3 days without the "drug," the worst of it would be gone, and that calm would come and the cravings would disappear. But if I eat something sweet, they inevitably come back.
I also decided to try Intermittent Fasting. I eat one or two times a day. Usually Fast for 18 hours each day and have an eating window of 6 hours.
Those three things, Keto, IF, and a decision to never eat sugary/sweet things again, have changed my life.
A year has passed, and I have stayed Keto. I have lost 130 lbs (60 kg), and many other chronic issues I had have also gone away. There are way too many benefits to even count. The issues I had with my gut as an example. So many issues seem to stem from inflammation caused by carbs.
Today I still have around 75 lbs (30 kg) left to lose to get to normal weight, but OMG, nothing has ever worked like this did.
It's definitely worth trying! It works!
I eat pork chops ,ground chicken patties,ham ,hamburger patties and also eat spinach salad, broccoli and cauliflower.
Lost 14 lbs so far
Wonder if this is possible for someone stuck in a hotel so no kitchen or freezer only a mini fridge and microwave plus only having $200 dollars a month for food plus it has to be portable and not require staying cold since my work means eating in a vehicle.

I just started the Keto diet 4 days ago. I feel it already. I'm not hungry for snacks or sugar which is truly amazing! I fasted 19 hrs. From yesterday and I'm not bothered by it. I'm excited to see 6 mos. from now!!
My doctor suggested I follow a Keto diet to help reduce the yeast that has built up in my stomach. I also am pre-diabetic, have high cholesterol and hypertension. I am not really overweight but I could stand to lose belly fat. I wan t to learn how to eat clean and enjoy my meals. I weigh 163 lbs and am a size 10. None of that matters if I am not healthy and I want to be healthy.
Anything, as long as there's no carbs… so almost nothing.

What if I’m trying to put on weight? I am 63, 6’ and weigh 150lbs. I’m shooting for 160lbs and have recently discovered I cannot tolerate gluten. Any flour products causes serious inflammation in my joints. I am an endurance athlete and have lived most of my life on carbs.

I was diagnosed with pre diabetes a couple months ago and I’m still not sure what changes to make so that I don’t have risk of diabetes. I am in the appropriate weight range for my age and I would actually say I am on the leaner side. I was thinking about starting the keto diet but I do not want to lose any weight. I want to go low carb but I think that would be difficult to do in an Asian household where rice is usually a part of my meal almost every day. does anyone have any tips on what I could do?

Quick question, I started on Atkins diet yesterday. Basically keto, but my question is when should I expect to start losing weight?? I’ve only had pork, eggs, bacon, chicken, water and only three sausages with my breakfast yesterday because they have carbs.

I love my cirkul flavors. Some have caffeine, some have electrolytes. This has helped me stop my 6 can a day Coca-cola habit, but still not losing weight, so trying to go Keto.

High meat, I can. High fat, I can't. I never liked oily, fatty food, it makes me feel sick and makes me wanna vomit 🙁 For example, eating salmon only 2 meals in a row, makes me not want to eat it for at least a few weeks, because it is oily.

How do you know if your not eating enough fat or too much fat as a replacement for the energy in carbs. Also, what about cholesterol and the soon to follow statin prescription. Have you looked st the possible side effects of Statins. These questions keep me on carbs for energy.
