Thank you for diving into the hormonal issues behind postpartum weightloss. It took me 4 babies before I REALLY understood that I needed to be patient with my body and focus on my baby instead of my looks. I needed to focus on recovering my strength and health, not my pre-pregnancy clothing size. It's a harsh world and I always had an imagine of what I should look like. I learned my baby doesn't care, my husband understands, and God created me in his image.
I really appreciate this information and although I know I have never and will never look like you (not my body type) I hope this advice helps me on my journey. I've gained literally over 100lbs during my first pregnancy I'm due in 5-8 weeks according to my Dr and already anxious to start losing. I know a lot is baby and water weight as I've had issues with edema (the scale said I gained 17lbs in 2 weeks which is literally impossible given me tracking calories etc) and I have an under active thyroid and EDS contributing to my problems but I've lost over 100lbs 2x already in my short life (32) and I'm eager to do it again while also exclusively breastfeeding. I can't wait to get back to me, I feel trapped in this big body. I don't know how obese people live like this full time I can't stand it!
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌❤
Just purchased your cookbook after watching!! You are such a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for reframing that the focus is on energy and health rather than just pure weight loss
This was just the video I needed to see. I just had my 6th baby yesterday. Feeling old and frumpy at 38, but this video put things in perspective and has encouraged me to be healthy and active and not putting pressure on getting back to pre pregnancy weight.
Thank you so much for this video ❤
Thank you so much! I am rewatching this at 4.5 months postpartum after feeling the increase in appetite.
I am active throughout my day and exercise and eat high protein. I REALLY needed to hear you say that you eat 2800-3000 calories per day & that we need more water.
What struck me is the part where you said , taking in more protien but not not the correct carbohydrates my body will just store it as fat .. I think that's definitely an area I'm failing in. I'm currently 2 mo postpartum and I think I'm just trying to hard to get my body back. Thank you for putting hormones, eating the right food types, and breastfeeding my baby into the proper prospective. I needed to see this today ❤🙏
Mummy Magic Weight Loss Tea is a great option for postpartum weight loss. It helps with metabolism and bloating, all while being safe for breastfeeding moms!
Since I’ve have my twins (3rd ) pregnancy. At 3 or 4 week pp people have been commenting on my weight. Some have said oh you look good for carrying twins n just giving birth but now the comments are when are you going to start loosing the weight. I am more focused on adjusting to our new life and keeping my kids happy, healthy and alive while staying sane. It has been eating at me and I want to start working out but I just don’t know where to start. I’ve been dealing with a lot of hormone imbalance and having constant sleepless nights caring for twin just doesn’t make easy. I am pumping and breastfeeding as well for both babies and home full time with all 4 boys.
Thank you for the video. I shared it with my husband because he is way more discipline than I and will help me in whatever I choose to do.
Wow! What an incredible video! Thank you!!!!
Mummy magic weight loss tea is a great option to naturally lose postpartum weight without affecting breastmilk supply. Drinking 3x a day will give you amazing results within a few weeks.
16 months postpartum. Breastfeeding still. No wonder…ive gained and not lost weight😮💨😮💨
Mummy Magic Weight Loss Tea is great for new moms looking to shed postpartum weight without affecting milk supply. It's a gentle and natural way to support metabolism and reduce bloating!
Completing your prenatal plan while eating a high protein and fat diet has made post partum weight loss effortless while keeping some muscle tone. Can't wait to start the post partum plan once I get my 6 week clearance. So grateful for you.
Can the hair loss last longer than 4 months?
I stopped breastfeeding could I go back my baby is 1 turning to 2 in February
People told me that breast feeding would make me lose weight like crazy but I lost weight immediately after giving birth that first month then plateaued and have only been maintaining at 211lbs. I feel terrible and I saw a photo of myself yesterday and I looked so terrible. This just isn’t healthy and it’s hurting me mentally as well. I’m confused because I don’t eat that much and I’m breast feeding. I know movement is important and I don’t do that enough but shouldn’t what I eat and breast feeding still be doing something for my weight loss? I only eat two times a day and the first time is a small meal and the second one is bigger but still I never get seconds and I still only eat what I would normally eat before I got pregnant for portion sizes and I was losing weight and 194lbs before I got pregnant. This was great because I’d been 215 lbs and in a few months got down to 194lbs. I’d changed pants sizes. Could metformin and movement make the difference? I don’t want to take medicines while breast feeding if I can help it. I could move more but admittedly I’ve been having anxiety about leaving the house and the cloudy darker winter weather has been making me feel blah. I think it’ll be hard for me to move around more but I’m guessing it’s what’s missing and I’ll have to push myself to do it. I’m having milk supply issues, will losing weight make that issue worse?
So you're shaming, other moms, who can't breastfeed
I'm a mother of a 16 month old little boy. I breastfed and pumped until he was 12 months old. I have gained more weight and back to my pre pregnancy weight which was 260lbs I was 170lbs and I am 5'7 I don't really look like I weigh 263lbs but I have done meal planning, I stop eating bread and pastas for a months. I also don't have an appetite until around lunch and I don't feel hungry around dinner time which I guess it's cause I get over heated while cooking dinner, so then I'm usually eating after everyone has already ate. I'm so insecure about my body and ate the way I look. I'm also taking 20mg Lexapro. Not sure if it causes weight gain.I'm not on any type of birth control. When I go to my doctor's appointment I sometimes will have an elevated blood pressure like my last BP was 150/99. I had postpartum preeclampsia after I gave birth to my baby. I have searched weight loss plans, I have no energy and I'm not breastfeeding anymore. I just want to go back to a healthy weight and get out of the 200lbs range. Anyone else experience this? I just wanna know I'm not alone and if I can get help.
Thank you ❤ love all your videos..so helpful
This is so good! Thank you for creating this. My little one is nearly 1.5 years old still bf (2 feeds) and it’s been so hard for me to get back into shape. Your video changed my mindset and more on a healthy lifestyle
Great information! I run a program where I help postpartum women regain their health and body. Embracing the cycles of our bodies and nourishing hormone balance is the key to physical and emotional health.
Thank you so much for this information
What do you suggest why I always feel like snacking at night time. It’s not so bad in the day but I’m tending to snack more at night.
I love you you always help me remember I’m not fat I just have a 6 week old.
This video has helped me compartmentalize how to eat at 7 years post partum. I'm not overeating, I'm not even trying to eat bad food, but I am 50lbs over weight still and I can't keep it off.
