  1. Simple solution here, cut out refined carbs that obviously aren't good for you like white bread and white pasta because it is nutritionally void of fiber or protein and wat healthy carbs from whole food sources like potatoes, fruit, veggies, and legumes and maybe even some high quality dairy. Pair those carbs with high quality sources of whole food proteins and helathy fats. Problem solved.

  2. There's a lot of pseudoscience out there, but this is very true. No matter how much weight I lost cutting carbs, I would always gain even more back. Carbs aren't the enemy, and you can still stay within a calorie limit without depriving yourself.

  3. I’ve lived on less than 20 carbs per day for the past 6 years. I am no longer pre diabetic and my blood pressure is under control for the first time ever. I’m never hungry. Im not sickly, I run 5 miles or so 3 days a week or so and have more general than I can ever remember.I can go long periods without eating and feel great.

Look, I’m not trying to convince anyone to adopt my lifestyle. But to answer your question, does the body NEED carbs? I’m living proof that at least one body does not
