  1. Just watched an interview with Drs Chaffee and Mason. Dr Mason said to avoid these 6 foods on carnivore:
    1. Eggs
    2. Fish
    3. Shellfish
    4. Dairy
    5. Nuts
    6. Seeds

    This has depressed me greatly!

  2. My top ketogenic food / OMAD since 6/2022:
    1) 5 pasture-raised, hard-boiled, organic VITAL FARMS eggs every day..
    2) VITAL FARMS pasture-raised BUTTER. I consume half to one stick of butter a day- I am addicted to deep yellow butter ❤
    3) Pecorino Romano cheese -2 servings every day.
    4) Ribeye steak, Skirt steak and wild-caught salmon.
    5) Organ meats -chicken hearts and beef liver
    6) MCT OIL in my coffee, black, no sugar, every day.
    7)Kalamata olives, every day.
    8) Arugula, red onions, and celery
    9) Handful of Pecans (high fat) a day
    10) Full-fat sour cream every day as a part of my OMAD.
I lost 97 pounds in 3 years and feel SUPER.

  3. My favorites are salmon, cat fish, extra sharp cheddar, broccoli, Brussells sprouts, asparagus, and cauliflower. Oh, and tomatoes. A snack of cherry tomatoes with a dolleop of Sauer's mayonnaise is heaven. Get only Sauers because it's made without sugar and has zero carbohydrates. My stats: I'm in my 81st year, have been injecting insulin since 1955, and walk with too many dogs more thabn 2 miles a day.

  4. What is it with the music in these videos ,I dont listen to lectures with music nor do I listen to the news with music or listen to anybody with music playing in the background. Sounds to me like you want to give some one a job when there isnt one, really annoying.

  5. THE ONLY FOODS I EAT = Grass fed/finished ground beef 85/15 blend, pasture raised eggs, Kerrigold butter, bacon, wild caught sockeye salmon, wild caught sardines, leafy greens, broccoli florets, shaved brussel sprouts, cucumbers, bell peppers, raw onion, mushrooms, blueberries, pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper. Extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, plain yogurt from A2 cows, garlic/jalapeño stuffed green olives, pork rinds, coffee with half/half, monk fruit sweetener. Zero® filtered water with scoop of electrolyte powder added. I eat one 2,000 calorie meal each day over 4 hours and fast 20 hours a day. I walk 8 miles every other day and sprint on off days. WARNING: EASE INTO SPRINTING TO AVOID INJURY. I sprint up a hill for 30 seconds and walk back down. I’m at 7 reps with a goal of 10 reps. AGAIN: BE CAREFUL WITH SPRINTING. I’ve been living this lifestyle for 3 years, 2 months, 23 days. I lost 73 lbs, got of 9 medications (2 were Alzheimer’s meds) and I’ve had the best blood test results ever.

  6. All what you said, I add avocado for potassium n healthy fat. I eat a variety non starchy veg swisschard, mushrooms, rappini, Napa cabbage lowest in carbs, peppers, Brussel sprouts, spinach, lamb, chicken thighs, I keep net carbs under 10 all from veg and moderate fat, adds up quick! ( by just using olive oil for veg n salad and half avocado n few nuts like pecans and For satiety ( too much fat the body burns food instead of fat for fuel)
I’m on day 12 water fast I feel amazing!! Before this did OMAD low carb

  7. You can do this with pork, chicken, steak, hamburger, etc. – Brown your meat. Remove and add mushrooms and onions to the pan. Cook those for a few minutes. Put the meat back into the pan. Add heavy cream to the pan (I usually add enough to cover the meat). I then add 2 to 3 tablespoons of Dijon Mustard and some worcestershire sauce,. Cover the pan and let simmer for an hour. You will be surprised how good this tastes.

  8. I did a keto diet for 1.5yrs when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was a plant based approach but I was in high ketosis ALL THE TIME and did oil and avocados and stuff like that. I am today two years cancer free and live and fasting/keto lifestyle and now I eat red meat and poultry. Keto diet is a miracle of the human body.

  9. Keto chilli
    Keto beef stew
    Keto Chicken stuffed jalepeno peppers
    Keto cauliflower cheese
    Keto zuccini pasta
There are so mamy amazing recipes for keto! I got bored of eating the same items when i first started keto now i love finding new keto recipes!

  10. Thank you. I love your practical approach. You have reminded me why I originally chose keto to start with. Keep it simple, it’s actually easy and fun. I kind of lost my way focusing on things that really weren’t important. I’m very exciting to recover my joy, to lighten up, and have fun again 😊

  11. Eggs, chicken thighs, hamburger, tuna/salmon/cod, and liverwurst or braunschweiger. Bacon is too messy for me most of the time, but once in a while I'll get smoked pork ribs from the local deli; beef fat sets off my gag reflex, so I don't eat a lot of steaks or roasts. Cabbage, cauli, broccoli and green beans for me. I typically have a couple slices of liverwurst or hard boiled eggs with celery and cukes, pickles or olives as dinner. I'm usually not very hungry since I eat a filling carnivore breakfast. I used to scour the internet for all the keto cookie/bread/snack recipes, but those will just suck you in to emotional eating, and the end products aren't satisfying.

  12. Wow, this video is super inspiring! I love how you break down the keto lifestyle into actionable tips—it’s so helpful for beginners and seasoned keto enthusiasts alike. Your recipes look delicious, and I can’t wait to try them out! Keep up the amazing work; your content is making a real difference in the keto community. 👏

  13. Dr westman i appreciate the fact that you have studied this type of eating. For me its not about losing weight, it's about being as healthy as possible and this is lifelong at least for me.
    Thank you 😊
