  1. genuinely listened to this all . i love lovee this video . thank you .. started taking caare of my health and focusing on a better lifestyle. i think most of the reason why we struggle to be a healthy weight is because how accesable fast food is . we get aisles of junk food but one tiny section of whole foods … really shows how we as a society set ourselves up… thank you, very helpful and educational

  2. I wonder if you've got a video on why you're not a fan of keto. EDIT – ah, @ 13:00 explains it. This isn't what the keto doctors say, though. With super low insulin (fat storing hormone) and your body burning ketones for fuel, they say you can eat over your calories of fat and still lose weight. I do think this is what happened to me in 2019, when I lost 30kg in 7 months, whilst SMOTHERING everything in sour cream, having cream in coffee a few times a day, cheeeeeese thick on cauliflower base pizzas. I just kept carbs under 20g/day and ate as much as I wanted, otherwise.

    The downside is that it set me up for failure when I stopped keto, because everything tasted like water if I didn't dollop sour cream on it or melt cheese on it. Helloooo, 20kg back, today.

  3. Darling, I just love you! You have me really fired up about eating more protein. Your info has been super helpful to understand why. I work out doing strength training with a fitness trainer 3 days a week and just recently (because you told us to put in on the calendar!) started doing a walk each evening too. My weight is actually fine for my height (145 lbs, 5'9"), I like being 10 lbs less ONLY because I like being leaner. I am now feeling like if I focus on my food and prepping (which I usually hate because I'm not a cook) I believe I can get lean without "dieting" anymore. Plus in the 10 years I have been working out, I have been unable to really get super toned. I'm going to get going on this protein thanks to you!
