  1. You lost me with the doughnuts! The kind of calories does matter! It raises your insulin! And STORES AS FATS! Protein is satiating ! The type of calories does matter. And there are bad foods! Sugar and highly processed foods! They should be eaten rarely! The focus is on whole quality food! But don’t say the type of calories don’t matter! I cannot follow you!

  2. Thank you very much. I am trying to take more responsibility in my eating and become more healthy – but all of the information is so overwhelming. You have simplified it so much for me and it feels like a massive weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I like that you mentioned it's ok to treat yourself from time to time, I need to get better at that. I'm always very hard on myself with my diet, and it has affected my mental health. Thank you.

  3. I discovered I have diabetes tipe2 about 5 months ago. I was one of the most unhealthy eaters. Sugar was my crutch. I have fibromyalgia and my body was always stiff and in pain and inflamed. My body was so swollen and my weight gain was steady! Since finding out about my diabetes I started eating foods that is closest to its original form as possible. I avoid processed foods and follow the rule of one starch, one meat and 2 zero-starch vegetables as a main meal. I only eat bread I bake with wholewheat bread flower in my air fryer. In between i eat fruit in small portions and wholegrain cereal for breakfast. I enjoy plain unsweet yoghurt with sweetner for treats. No sugary foods. I have a strong willpower when I put my heart into something so even processed foods without sugar is out. No snacks ect. I realise this is not for everyone because it can be a boring diet. I eat what I can afford. I feel much more energetic and my inflammation and stiffness and swolen body and especially the gastroparesis is 10 times better. I still has a long way to go but I feel so much better. If someone read this and you also suffer with fibromyalgia, I had to walk with the support of a cane but i can walk again without it. I am not healed, Im better. At least I am going in the right direction. I am proud of my accomplishments about food choices. Thank you for your great video.
