As many of you know, I love trying different diets! I’ve tried carnivore, OMAD, intuitive eating, vertical diet etc. So with that said, in today’s video I decided to give the keto (ketogenic) diet a try for a week! Is it the best weight loss diet?
Throughout the video I outline exactly how I’m going about my week in terms of calories, macros, meal frequency. I also outline some great recipes, meal ideas. This is a great video outlining the keto diet for beginners!
The week definitely had it’s ups and downs but the results were INSANE! Definitely didn’t expect to lose that much weight by the end.

Keto works well for overweight people. But if you're already lean, volume and carbs are more filling. I have ruined my sixpack with keto and even carnivore.
You would lose faster if you stayed under 20 grams of carbs a day

You cant do keto for a week. You're going to lose a bunch of water for lack of carbs in your diet, then gain it all back as soon as you stop the diet.

You did this wrong. True keto is supposed to be less than 20grams of total carbs not net carbs.
I’m sorry will, but 37 grams of carbs is enough to knock most people out of ketosis. That’s low carb but not keto. I’d suggest redoing the video but measuring your blood ketone levels and seeing how quickly you can enter ketosis. I’d love to see a YouTuber try this finally

It takes time for your gluconeogenesis to take place. Eventually, your body will produce the glucose it needs without carbs coming in
I have no idea how people stay satiated on a keto diet. I just get ravenously hungry because the low food volume doesn't fill me up.
