After this video: Oh
I am studying Nutrition and dietetics I am in my thrid year am excited to become a dietitian specialist.
That´s amazing. I´m studying Nutrition in Brazil, and it sounds completly different from US. This video has been a division of waters in terms of Education. Thank you a lot!
Hy mam, may i know the salary expectations of a dietitian??
As i completed my bsc now im in full of confusion whether to choose food technology or nutrition 😢❤pls reply
Thank you so much, this was very informative!! I feel like my personality is very similar to yours lol. I've worked in public health for almost 5 years and wanting to do something more meaningful where I can help people on a more personal level but also I don't want to be a doctor or nurse, so this sounded like a great option. Thanks again!
Thanks for posting this. Your honesty is very refreshing!❤
Do you have nutritionists who work under you, that are not dietitians? I ask bc I’m getting my bachelors in nutrition. The Ochem/science classes were so difficult I really don’t want to get a masters 💀😩
do you start to make more once you’ve been working there for a while
Thank you so much for sharing ! Really insightful. Made me reconsider.
thank you so much for this video!! this was so helpful and insightful since i've been considering dietetics. it was so nice to hear your honest experience!!
You seem like such a sweet soul 💛 you’re obviously doing this because you’re passionate and care about others. Thank you for this vid! Keep up the good work, from another fellow introvert 😄
Uh… isnt this a doctorate degree? $12-$15 an hour? I cant even pay rent with that.
I need to know calculus? I'm not good at math, so I gotta do something else. I'm glad I found out now. This is still a good informative video.
thank you somuch for this… very informative and real
You just talked me out of it thanks.
Thank you for this video! I’ve wanted a job that isn’t lab work that combines the nutrition and clinical side of things, and I’ve decided to go in debt doing a masters. As a sensitive introvert/socially selective person, I’m worried abt the whole talking to people thing, but I’ve noticed that everyone is tired, we have a lot of shit on our backs, and it’s rough to be told that the most basic thing that you need as a human – eat – is something you’re doing wrong. I think you’re doing good xx
Well done! I'm seeing a dietitian out-patient, and she has made a huge difference in my health and my life. Keep on keeping on; you make a difference!
Love your video. Very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing! I found your insight very helpful as I research the possibility of becoming a dietician. I’ve been juggling with the idea of if I could maintain it this while starting a family so thank you for speaking on that possibility 🥰
Thank you for the honest input, I think it’s the career for me.
Great video. I lasted 5 years as an RD in the UK. Inpatients. The lack of respect from other health care professionals and patients, coupled with the emotional fatigue and overall monotony of the day to day work, made me leave the profession. Lastly, working as the only male in a department of 20+ females became an issue over time… the cattiness and bitching from my colleagues was unbearable 😅
This is great video to understand the jobs. Thanks
I can’t believe how bad they treat dietitians I was considering this career, I’m watching your video and I feel so sad. Every healthcare worker is important for the system you matter !! People are so unaware of how important nutrition/dietetic is.
can you work from home?
I’m starting Grad school this Fall and majoring in Nutrition! I’m excited and nervous for all the hard science courses
thank you, it seems like alot of work just for little pay
Can you do a video on your college experience getting your master's and what to expect
My main concern when it comes to the coursework is how many classes involving dissection would I need to take. The organs combined with the smell of formaldehyde is too much for me and I end up losing my appetite. Were a lot of dissections required in the classes you took to become a dietitian?
I stumbled across your channel and am so grateful for you taking the time to share your RD journey. You appear to be a very genuine and kind person. Blessings to you!
Hi Irene
Please what are some of the study sites you used when you were in school
Such a useful video. Thank you so much for it and for the insights. 💝
Thank you so much for your insight. I'm very grateful how you broke your working day down into parts and busted some myths about dietitians only being advisors, while in fact you check the lab work too and work with charts. I'm considering a Food Science and Nutrition major which will allow me to pursue Dietetics after a Master's degree, so I was wondering what's it really like working as a dietitian. 😊 I appreciate you not being vague and giving a clear list of responsibilities a dietitian has.
