  1. I want to know if I can do a prolonged water fast 3-7 days while breastfeeding; or well, I have to pause during the fast and then restart breast-feeding after or will my milk all dry up

  2. Interested to hear about: HOW do they slaughter the cattle humanly? I can’t find info on that… Can you do a video on that please? Just curios your thoughts on that🙏🏻

  3. Who else here has previously Googled this question and heard some uninformed logic of why it's not safe for a pregnant woman to do Keto. Why is it that when people don't know something, they can't just say that.

Thanks Dr.Berg. I'm really happy to hear your opinion on this subject and I would love to hear more in this topic in the future. There is just not enough reliable information about nutrition for pregnant women.

I was told to go on a low fat diet and to drastically increase my calories when I got pregnant. I gained weight way faster than what is standard and then when they weighed me again, they told me to drastically decrease my calories. Go figure! It's no wonder that pregnancy ruined my health and my metabolism. I wish I had seen your channel a long time ago.

  4. I did breastfeeding started out 12 hours and worked my way to 18 hours. It didn’t effect my milk supply or how I felt. In fact I felt better.
If I ever have another baby I am not just going to quit my habit. As long as you’re getting proper nutrition it shouldn’t effect anything.
I feel to good to ever quit fasting.

  5. it’s apparently very difficult to stick to keto while preggers from a morning sickness POV. So any aged food like cheese or beef or fermented foods (all of which can feature prominently on clean keto) have high levels of histamines. In second and third trimester your body naturally produces a type of anti-histamines but not yet in first trimester when you’re most likely to have morning sickness. Histamines causes various issues but can cause problems with uterus (I think maybe contracting?) which could be harmful for baby. I know that anti-histamines are sometimes used to treat morning sickness but that there are some negative outcomes from this like low birth weight. Basically if you’re pregnant it’s more important to listen to your body and not try to force yourself to eat something just because its otherwise normally good for you. Like if all you can eat is rice and energade in your first trimester then don’t beat yourself up about it on top of feeling crap

  6. Absolutely not. Pregnant women need calories n whole carbs to build baby — why would a woman be trying to LOSE weight while pregnant ?
Look at problems from children born during early 1970's diet fad — all kinds of nerve, brain complications !

  7. Oops too late 🙈 I did 14-15 hour fasts while pregnant, and doing 18-20 hour fasts now while exclusively breastfeeding. I had been doing warrior diet and 3-day fasts for two years leading up to my pregnancy, so my body was used to it.
