Breakfasts on the Go

Breakfasts on the Go

A grab-and-go breakfast doesn’t have to mean a drive-thru sandwich or a sugary latte! These homemade breakfasts on the go are perfect for making in advance and grabbing as you head out the door.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had to admit a difficult truth to myself: drive-thru lattes are not a proper breakfast.

Even though I want to be that person who runs on coffee alone, it always sets me up for a lousy day—and feeling hangry a few hours before lunchtime.

Having some make-ahead breakfasts on hand at home has become my alternative to those coffee shop breakfasts. Even though there’s some advanced planning and prep work involved, once I’ve got my grab and go breakfasts ready in the fridge, it actually requires less work to have one of those than it does to hit up the drive thru.

Of course, not every breakfast travels well. When I say grab and go, I mean it—I literally want to be able to grab it and head out the door. These recipes all qualify!
