  1. I'm 31 weeks and lost 3 lbs since my last appointment two weeks ago and a lb the week before that. I haven't gained any weight since my pregnancy I was 195 pre baby and am currently 192… I also had no morning sickness at all so I'm not throwing it up…

  2. I wish I were told this. I lost 14kg in my first trimester due to hyperemesis gravidarum. My doctor told me "Babies don't like that" and wouldn't offer me anything else to combat the nausea and vomiting.
We were so scared something was wrong with out baby!

  3. Yeah hyperemesis is super fun. Lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks bc of it. Doc in the ER said “if you weren’t pregnant I’d be really worried about your ketone levels…” 😑😑

  4. By the time the dr said, "Congratulations," i could no longer button my pants. 😒 and that was with extreme morning sickness requiring medication to keep anything down. I has to get bigger clothes by 16 weeks because apparently, when your 4'11 and have 1 inch between your hip bone and bottom rib, there's only one direction for your uterus and baby to go…forward.
I was so offended my long-waisted cousin didn't have to get maternity pants til well into her 3rd trimester.
I went from 96 lbs to 184 when i had him. Thanks, steroids. 😒

  5. Anybody who thinks this is obviously listening to the ramblings of an uneducated old wives tale. I hate when I still here people saying you are eating for two 🤦🏻‍♀️ And women feel like that have to eat like a pig to produce a healthy baby. It’s lunacy!

  6. … um any advice on how to prevent that?
I already have issues keeping my weight up at normal levels (stupid-not stupid high metabolism and active life)

And i really cant imagine me being 20+ pounds underweight is going to be good for a fetus :I

  7. PLEASE help me. I am lost I am devastated and have been for months. I got pregnant for the first time this time last year. I am 26. Due to negligence from my OBGYN long story short I lost my baby the day before my 2nd trimester. (I was told by another OBGYN who is of very high regard this could've been completely prevented had my original OBGYN taken the right steps etc.) Anyway, I have PCOS and endometriosis. I've tried SO HARD ever since my loss to conceive again. It's driving me crazy. I'm so depressed and so empty….I need some kind of advice or tips ANYTHING you could possibly offer to help is more than appreciated. Please please help me. I already had a crib, clothes, so many things given to me bc my family and I were so excited we jumped right in…even down to booking a venue for my baby shower which has to be cancelled of course. If you see this please….if there's any advice or tips I could use I will try anything. I'm losing hair, gaining weight, barely sleeping now and the longer time goes on its getting worse. I will also mention my periods were actually regular up until 3 months ago they just stopped out of nowhere, which I'm assuming is my stress levels causing it. Thank you in advance if you can see this!

  8. Yeah I lost nearly 30 pounds in my first trimester. I was a little bit overweight when I found out I was pregnant and my morning sickness was all day sickness so by the time the morning sickness started to wane all I wanted was oranges and fresh veggies. So I lost a few lbs lol.

  9. I gained 40lbs. with my son and my OB said "generally we don't want you to gain that much weight, but since you were underweight when you started, you just keep right on gaining!" The bad part was, it was mostly amniotic fluid. When they broke my water, I immediately lost 25lbs. of water weight.

  10. Lost 6 kgs in the first trimester thanks to HG and now I’m in the third and still haven’t reached my pre pregnancy weight. But the baby seems to be doing well so I’m trying not to stress and eating whatever the hell i feel like

  11. I lost 2st up to birth but I was 13st before hand so there was no worries for the baby it was my body just shedding extra and probably for eating and exercising more in pregnancy and after breast feeding I lost another stone so went in to pregnancy 13st come out a year later 10st xx

  12. when I first got pregnant I was asked oh you only gained a pound at first check up and it made me think since I had a molar pregnancy that it was one of the symptoms of a pregnancy not going in the right direction .

  13. Lost 14 pounds with my first one and I was already tiny. I think I got to about 110 pounds and was so worried for my little guy. They told me not to worry though and I got some life saving nausea medication

  14. My whole pregnancy I only gained 10lbs. My daughter was 6.9lbs of that. I worked the whole time and was semi active. But yeah, it made me worried at first but my OBGYN made me feel much better by reminding me that my mom was the same way and every single person has a different metabolism and pregnancy

  15. My mom always told me don’t worry about it. Stress is bad for the baby! And fact is the baby is legit attached to you! Baby is gonna take what baby needs from you. No matter what baby will find a way to survive. I was so sick my first pregnancy and so scared cause I had just had a miscarriage right before! But yeah Brandon took what he needed for sure!! Boy is 13 and bigger than me and almost as big as his dad and step dad! Yeah he def took whatever he wanted 😂🤣

  16. Question 🙋🏽‍♀️ Im currently on my weight loss journey. I am considered morbidly obese. Not trying to conceive but out of curiosity If I got pregnant would it be safe to continue to loose weight and it still be safe? If that makes sense thnx

  17. I only gained 15 lbs with my babies bc I was so sick the entire pregnancy. I had hyperemesis gravidarum. With my first pregancy I had no idea what i was going through wasnt normal for most women and was treated terribly by my Dr, like I was making it up. I almost lost my job, i could barely function! Thankfully after that I learned how to advocate for myself to get the help I needed to make it through 2 more pregnancies. I would have my baby, and within 2 weeks I'd weigh less than I did prior to pregnancy. And my teeth were completely ruined. My life during pregnancy was a living hell!

  18. Me! I lost 22lb from conception to birth. Of course I was violently sick for 8.5 months and had gestational diabetes so it wasn't a huge mystery but I wasn't worried, my OB said we were square and she was growing fine in there ❤

  19. tbh I wish! I’ve been so constipated that I feel like I’ve gained so much more than the recommended lol, no amount of fiber has been helping 🤣 the bloat is so real over here lol

  20. I lost about 50 lbs while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (last). I was mild to moderate gestational diabetic (upper 100’s to low 200’s) during my whole pregnancy so I was placed on a ER insulin for the majority of my pregnancy and had to be aware of what I consumed. I ended up having to add a low dose quick acting insulin towards the end of my pregnancy because my levels started getting a little harder to manage. Overall it minimizes the risk of gestational diabetes to my son and helped me reach a healthier weight than my pregnancy was.
