  1. I was diagnosed with a 14mm gallstone after my first attack. I had been doing intermittent fasting (19/5) for about 7 months, and IF can cause stones. This debunks what Dr. Berry said, because that stone could block the duct temporarily, but couldn’t get into it. Ducts and tubes are about 6mm.

I was doing research last night and found another cause! Proton Pump Inhibitors slow down the release of bile, causing sludge and forming stones! I had taken Omeprazole for 2-3 years a few years ago! Now I think THAT’S what formed the stone! My GERD and esophagitis have been so bad that I started back on PPIs yesterday— I took the first one yesterday morning, and last night I had the worst gallbladder attack I’ve had! I usually manage them easily with massage, but this one messed me up for a couple of hours. I finally took Magnesium Citrate in a glass of water and laid on my right side.

  2. I just recently had a gallstone or gallbladder attack. I am trying to figure out what I should start eating. I know I have to cut out drinking my sodas and sugary foods and a lot of carbs. Most people tell me that I have to stop eating red meat also. I can eat chicken and fish. Is this true?

  3. What would you advise a percentage of the audience that has a gallstone but doesn't know it and you know it's going to get small enough to begin to pass? Is there anything that can get done so it doesn't become an ER visit?

  4. DISCLAIMER!!! I’m not claiming fact or false with this comment:

But can we appreciate the fact that there is so much oversaturated information on the topic of gallbladder health and for videos like this I have to go based on faith alone risking a gallbladder stone regardless due to previous dietary health while other diets claim to melt gallstones before surgery is necessary?

This video suggests a surgical gamble. Does anyone have any 3rd party sources to look up on this topic?

  5. 80% of gallstones are trapped cholesterol. They can be caused by statins, on top of age, obesity,, and they do say high fat, sugar, etc. All the sites say what not to eat and what to eat if you have them, which sucks because it’s lean meat and whole carbs and fiber, the last two inflame my bits and pieces affected by auto immune disorders.

I just found out I had gallstones before starting this. I’ve felt great for two weeks. On a carnivore podcast tonight was a Q&A and they had a nurse on who’s seen tons of gallbladder emergencies. She said it is crucial to go really slow on bringing up fat intake because the gallbladder is damaged—adding too much fat, too quickly, could land me in the emergency room. She’s a pro-carnivore nurse. I felt so relieved.

Maybe I’ve been lucky in that I have introduced a lot of fat, but since I get full so quick, it probably hasn’t been enough to upset my gallbladder. Regardless, I’ll follow her advice and slow it down.

  6. Carni for 8 months now. Systematically reducing my gallstone attacks and this video now makes PERFECT sense.
In the beginning the discomfort and pain after eating minced was hard to bear. Now it's mild discomfort, just a little squeeze. Pretty soon it will disappear.

  7. Funny the doctor and nutritionist I consulted in advised low fat diet. Now I heard this. Sounds like the advice is going to get me worse. I'm confused. Got to have another opinion somewhere else. This is concerning.

  8. Keto is not the real reason for gallstones it is the low fat diet for having gallstones. Since you already have gallstones then you go to keto diet the gallstones will become small and can be block on bile duct right?

  9. So what do I do and for how long? I’ve been trying to do carnivore and keto, and having a lot of gallbladder issues. I’m taking supplements now, but it seems to be on a day by day basis and I’m afraid to eat fat. And butter is my most favorite thing in the world

  10. I don’t know which is true but one I will say I had 11 gallstones and stage 2 fatty liver in 2022, went in Keto on and off for two years and Carnivore for 2 months ago. I got a CT scan 3 days ago 2/2/25 and results were “unremarkable “ I had to call and ask personally to the technician and she told me, no I didn’t see any gallstones or fatty liver. I am dumbfounded and excited for the future!

  11. Ahhhh!!!!!
Ive just been diagnosed – I have lost weight recently and guess what… I was in A&E with gallbladder problems!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THIS – I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY AND FELT ALONE WITH THIS🎉

  12. I have mild discomfort in this region and have lived with it on and off for some years now. I have been a carnivore for 2 years and keto on and off for 10 years prior. I haven't been to the doctor about it as quite frankly I lost trust in them 40 years ago in my 20s and the last 4 years have only confirmed my distrust. I am currently trying TUDCA 1200mg in the mornings to see if it will improve the discomfort other than that I feel pretty good on my 1 Ribeye a day anyone else had experience with TUDCA?
