  1. Thanks very much for this video. I am in my 50's and really need getting my weight, cholesterol, and blood sugar under control. While I am not extremely overweight, I know I need to drop 5 to 7 pounds. I have been looking into Keto and some other extreme eating plans, but none of them seem sustainable for me. I appreciate your approach because it does not eliminate food groups or suggest skipping meals or even healthy snacks once in a while. I know I will fail if I try to adopt a restrictive diet plan. Great tips in this video and in all of your videos. Keep them coming!

  2. Great suggestions! I personally have found that having a protein and a fiber food at a meal helps to keep me feel more satisfied longer and helps with weight loss

    Also Using smaller plates has helped me with better portion sizes.

  3. Hi Dani, I know this is an older video but I wanted your opinion on a food tracking site. I HATE Baritastic (I am post GBS 2020) and MyFitnesspal charges now for Premium. Is the WW app acceptable as long as I am mindful of Macros and not exceeding 1200 calories? Or do you have any other recommendations?

  4. Love your videos but this one is confusing to me. I have congestive heart failure and on fluid restriction . I find myself being thirsty a lot of time but I can’t exceed my cardiologist and nephrologist .I often feel trapped about fluid intake. Hope you have some suggestion.

  5. I’m in my late 60x. I had never heard of electrolytes before. Why have they suddenly become fashionable? I don’t understand how we need something artificial?

  9. These are excellent principles to follow! And I’m totally trying LMNT! Just placed an order! Hydration and mindful eating are the 2 principles that I want to work on.

  10. 1) stop focusing on calories, focus on eating quality food. Don’t restrict food group.Abundance of food. U can eat pasta and protein and vegetables
    2) Eat more protein
    3) Increase fiber intake. Eat whole food, low in calories, high in fiber food. Vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds etc
    4) Hydration. Drink more water. Add lemon or electrolyte.
    5) Eat healthy fat. Such as avocado. Add seeds and nuts into yr food.
    6) Create external environment. Have healthy food around you more rather than unhealthy snacks
    7) Creating supportive internal environment. Positive mindset. Healthy self talk. Create kind dialogue to yourself.
    8) Good meal prep
    9) Keep easy go to meal such as oatmeal with berries.
    10) Be more mindful to eat slowly without distractions

  11. Danny, how can I stay away from my comfort food at work because I work in a café and food is around me all day. I am so addicted to these chips they make that are fried. So how can I deal with this when it is constantly around me? Thanks

    I would love to see a video collecting your ‘two minute meals’. A lot of times I just don’t budget enough time to eat something before I have to rush out the door. I’d love to have some quick options besides just my go to yogurt!
