  1. I understand the principles espoused by Dr. Ekberg and I've been on the keto diet for about 25 years (before it became so popular) but at some point you have to ask yourself… did our prehistoric ancestors worry about carbs? I'm not saying they were healthy; I'm simply saying life is more than worrying about every detail of your eating. I lost 80 pounds the first year I started the keto diet (all I needed to lose) and I've kept it off because once you get the hang of the keto diet all you have to do is NEVER buy anything at the grocery store that doesn't fit the keto diet and eat at home rather than at fast food restaurants. You can occasionally go to a nice restaurant, but remember that you cannot control your diet at such times, even if you ask the chef not to use vegetable oil (or whatever) when preparing your food. My whole life changed the first year I adopted the keto diet. Since that time, I have never been ill with anything, and at age 74 I have tremendous strength, no aches nor pains, no winter colds, and no other symptom of old age. So I'm a keto lifer.

  2. Is 150 grams of healthy fats a day too much for someone who weighs 200 lbs ? My net carbs area around 50 grams a day and 110-130 grams of protein. I’m combined this with intermittent fasting, but I also have liver fibrosis and want to make sure I’m doing the right things. I’ve lost 50 pounds since starting this back in September 2023. Any help would be appreciated, thanks 🙏

  3. Sour cream if made properly from cream always 30% of fats (you take the cream from milk that is getting formed on the top of the milk, put it separately from the milk and wait about 2-3 days and that is a sour cream)

  4. I know grass fed is better quality but I also know all meat has health benefits. But I'm sure it gets scary for some people who hear the statement about if the animal is healthy then you have good quality meat and many can't afford grassfed. I bet some people are thinking yes meat make you sick or causes cancer if it's not grassfed and feel the plant based people are right.. I eat grassfed the majority of the time but if I was in a position where i could not afford it I would still get the meat I could afford without fear! Doc once again a super educational video I always learn watching your content.
