  1. So called keto & carnivore “gurus” are incredibly irresponsibIe for spreading fear of carbs and convincing people that saturated fats are healthy 🤦‍♂

People should be getting guidance from real professionals, dietitians and nutritionists, not random doctors or self-proclaimed gurus on the internet…

  2. I’m in my late 50’s and began Keto eight months ago, and I feel great. My arthritis went away, and my bloodwork is awesome. My brain fog, blah mood, and eczema is all gone. My digestive issues are gone as well. I am no longer in need of the edema, and arthritis medications that I used to take. This is now my way of life, and totally worth the change.

  3. 9/21/25. Started the Keto diet on 9/9/25. My blood sugar has been running at pre-diabetes levels of around 115 for several months. My weight has been out of control for way too long.
    Results so far:
    Down 9 pounds
Blood sugar has been running in the high 80s for the last week.

I have a long way to go, but so far the Keto diet is meeting my needs.

  4. I wish these clowns would have humility to consider the thousands of comments from people who have actually been on a keto/carnivore diet. Their outdated advice may gain them lots of clicks, but if anyone follows it, will just keep them in the health rut that most Americans are already in.

  5. I don’t do keto but I’m gluten sugar and dairy free and man, I am telling you I feel so much better… cut out the inflammatory stuff and bam. 💥 lost a ton of body fat and gained muscle and my skin got so much clearer and my mind felt less foggy.

  6. My boss started with these thing and it works for him. And a lot of clients start it too. Some with more success others with less. What I found amazing (I work in a kitchen) is that a lot of people are worried about their wheight, but they eat a lot, I we work more or less 8 hours, and you come to buy food or candies or whatever 2 or 3 times in a day? is 8hrs. And my coworkers, they arent used to drink mate so they eat everything in the kitchen, 8hours eating a little bit of something, after 1 year they all become fat (thats why my boss started this keto thing) anyways, if you want to loose weight, dont eat that much, drink mate (is just water) and walk a lot. have breakfast and dinner, you are not gonna starve to death

  7. It’s not a diet. It’s a way of life. Not worrying about long term issues I’m seventy. I feel amazing on this way of eating. Lost fourteen pounds and have tons of energy and I’m sleeping so much better and my depression has lifted. I’m painting again and enjoying life. Thanks to keto

  8. Your ignorance is unbelievable. There are no cravings, and keto/carnivore is absolutely sustainable! Your obsession with the word “diet” makes no sense. I reversed my type 2 diabetes, eliminated high blood pressure, got rid of my glaucoma and lost 50 pounds. Humans are genetically carnivores. Have you even looked at photos of long term vegans? They are the absolute appearance of death warmed over. I suppose you see the writing on the wall with respect to your income vs a proper human diet.

  9. It’s still used in hospitals to treat children with epilepsy, it’s also been trails that shows promising results on schizophrenia and other mental disorders. There might be some long term issues that we don’t know about, but badly managed blood glucose levels/insulin spikes are not good, and has many negative effects on the body. This might help with that.
Personally I’m not “religious” about this, but my experience is that my body was working better on ketones. My fatigue disappeared, and I had a steady energy level all day every day. My sleep improved and the brain fog I had sometimes previously disappeared. Much better focus and cognitive state.

  10. Good god, literally everything they say is incorrect and unscientific. Go research the scientific truth regarding what they claim and you will find they dont actually know the science regarding the effects and contents of all the food and its metabolic effects.

  11. I know what I was eating on keto and my lipid profile improved greatly. It’s entirely possible that your keto can be meat and vegetables. Hard to say that is bad. Just came back here to say after 5 days back on keto the arthritic pain and swelling in my hand is gone. . I have stayed on keto for years at a time.

  12. I've been on keto for about 8 months now, not to lose weight but because of auto-immune diseases. It has helped me sooo much! I still have light flare-ups but I'm off meds 90% of the time. For me it's quite easy to maintain, I just eat meat, fish, seafood, some vegetables, a bit of fruit from time to time. I hardly ever eat processed foods, no bacon and highly processed meats. So quite a clean keto diet.

  13. I'm a type 1 diabetic who got the worst dietry advice from diabetic doctors and nurses. Tried every conceivable way of eating to balance my blood sugar. Worst for me was vegan, and even raw vegan, I could'nt stop farting for months and pretty much had to sit on the toilet everyday as my body could'nt handle some of the plant toxins. Beans and certain nuts made me super uncomfortable. I eventually settled on a Mediterranean low GI diet as recommended by my diabetic clinic. However, I needed to exercise every day to burn glucose as even the 'good' whole grains were spiking my readings and resulting in some terrible lows. Yet that was the wisdom shared. When I enquired about KETO it was as if I had mentioned the devil's name at Sunday school. Hence I was put off for a decade. I am now into 5 weeks of eating keto style and wow, never have I seen such beautiful daily graphs and my insulin need has halved. I don't even need to worry about exercising, went from sugar average of 9.6 to a rock-steady 5.2. Tingly hands are over and even my ED has disappeared. No gas and you can reduce your toilet paper usage. BTW, I'm not overweight and haven't lost any additional weight, but I do notice more muscle definition. So, its an anecdotal account, but judging by the comments here I think the doctors should revise their position. The only things restricted are sugars, grains, and seed oils – simple!

  14. I was on the keto diet for 4 years. I am a person of habit so had the same foods I always ate just took away the bread, potatoes, pastries and most fruit. It changed my physiology so much I never wanted to go back. I never took another nap, I didn’t crave sweets, I got down to my goal weight within 6 months. I had so much energy I always wanted to be active. I stopped having anxiety especially at night. No more floaters in my eyes. I had been plagued with stomach aches that could not be diagnosed. I never had another one! I felt fantastic every day. I am watching this because I took a couple years off and now am looking to go back on. I eat steak and salad with full fat garlic ranch dressing. Baked chicken thighs with cauliflower butter, salt and pepper. My breakfast is usually coffee and heavy cream and lunches are cheesesticks, meat stick, nuts and veggies and dip. I eat a lot of eggs but I really like eggs. To me it’s very simple Whole Foods and I don’t miss carbs at all. It gets boring because you’re not getting the dopamine hits all the time. I realized that’s something we need to practice in America!

  15. I am on a keto diet because I am fed up with being overweight. I have lost 14 pounds in two months but need to lose a lot more. Yes, my diet is rather boring, lots of veggies, eggs, sausage, steak, chicken, fish and nuts mostly. My plan once I get to my desired weight is to alternate between keto and carbohydrates but I have a ways to go.

  16. Keto in adults is hard; the ratio just don't work. For toddlers, it can work if you have a medical team that support the caregiver. I've seen mothers use a straight razor to cut a slice of a strawberry to give their child for daily carbs. But it can work. I remember a child that started when the drugs didn't work at age 2. The child was having around 200 to 300 epileptic seizures a day. Within a week, the seizures all but stop to one or two a day. They kept her on the diet for 2 and half years. The seizures where now weeks apart. They then transition to a Modified Atkins Diet (MAD) and on her 5th birthday, with her friends from school, she ate a small piece of birthday cake. This took place about 15 years ago. The women now can eat what she wants without the seizures.

  17. Who are these guys! Work is obviously quiet so they are trying to drum up business by sharing useless dietary advice. The bear doc tried low fat plant based and got sick so now all diets are bad. With regard to the bear diet, good luck with actually figuring out and sourcing their foods available in the wilderness. Our environment is contaminated with refined carbs and oils. The rest of us are figuring out what is best to eat in our location, when to eat and what to eliminate to make us feel better and healthier. For some people this might include eliminating most plants. The problem is not lipids, but high blood sugar and insulin and not enough good quality dietary fats.

  18. For the doctor to the left, to be speaking as if he has nothing valuable to talk about apart from his own foods he's addicted to and his own personal opinions instead of sharing some of his actual knowledge puts him pretty low on the trust scale 🎉
