It’s easy to overcomplicate what a healthy diet can look like when we’re constantly being told to eliminate almost every food that we enjoy. Instead of focusing on what to restrict, let’s focus on what we can add.
My #1 goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle by helping people make sustainable and realistic changes that are rooted in balance and satisfaction. Contrary to popular belief, dietitians don’t eat a “perfect” diet free of processed foods, non-organic foods, and non-GMO foods – nor do we need to. The goal isn’t to perfect the diet by eliminating all “unhealthy foods”, but to make a healthy lifestyle (a lifestyle that makes you feel happy, energized, and nourished) work for you!
What if i have emetophobia and im scared to eat most dairy (milk, yogurt unless it already came w it, ice cream etc) with fruits (unless its in like muffins or cakes or etc)??
just another reminder! if this isn't what you want for your cereal, you do not have to do it! there are plenty of ways to introduce more carbs protein and fiber into your diet while still eating dry cereal if you really want to. just one example ❤
I love this! I do this with shredded wheat cereal— I have it with soymilk for protein, frozen blueberries for antioxidants, and dark chocolate for fun. I’ve had it with bananas too before, I just can’t keep bananas from going bad in my house lol 😅
Also, if you over eat (or feel like you did), what can you ADD to your day to make you take care of yourself (jogging, walking, vibration plate, etc.) instead of taking away another meal time (breakfast/brunch/lunch/linner/dinner/brinner/etc)?
My mom told me that eating milk/yoghurt with fruits makes your stomach hurt bc they don't mix well…. I never understood that bc I eat oatmeal with banana and raspberries multiple times a week and never had problems. But I guess she's just someone that likes to scare me with what I already fear, stomach problems and being sick….
This is so validating that I’m doing something right! I have two weetabix in whole milk, with blueberries, raspberries, walnuts and a drizzle of honey for breakfast; I always see gurus online saying how unhealthy it is to have fruit for breakfast, or to be careful how many nuts you have. Thank you Kylie for this video❤
hey. im 22 and i have a 17 y/o sister who i think is developing an eating disorder or has one [im not really sure] she refuses to eat any of her meals. What can i do to help??
Heres my tips (im seeing this really late but whatever) Aim for a wheat based cereal like shreddies! It contains 4.8g of fiber per serving for your gut (you need 20-30g per day so thats already a quarter!) Add extra protein other than milk. This could be bacon, eggs, skyr/greek yogurt etc. Be careful of your serving size! Per serving, cereal is not that high in calories. However, the calories can add up if you dont measure it. This is not good if you are trying to lose weight. With that being said, you might want to have 2-3 servings of cereal for breakfast if you want to gain weight! And of course, a healthy fat source. One thing i do sometimes is mix yogurt and chia seeds and top it with a wheat nased cereal💗
I had some leftover plain fried rice, asked myself what was missing, and added frozen veggies for fiber and vitamins and a slice of raw tofu for a low effort protein
This mindset is really demystifying how I can take better care of myself ❤
I have such a hard time eating healthy because I feel like I don't know what I'm "allowed" to eat, and then I just end up not eating anything. This perspective makes me feel like eating better is actually achievable, thank you 🥺
I am a fan of her and love the majority of her vids. However I must disagree with this. Most cereals here in AU contain sugar. Wouldn't yoghurt be better option
Who the hell feels satiated after a bowl of cereal with milk?? I swear these dieticians just say whatever and people lap it up because they have 'qualifications'.
Eat eggs and bacon if you want to know what actual satiation feels like.
Honestly, since I started watching your videos I’ve grown more and more inspired to eat healthy by each video I scroll to. I just made a really tasty sandwich, with eggs, cabbage, sourdough, balsamic vinegar and cheese. It was unbelievably delicious, healthy, and easy to make! Thank you for making these videos.

Stop subtracting and start adding ❤️

I agree cuz I’m trying to add more healthy stuff, I started adding a wrap
Awesome!😎

my dad would do this all the time. he'd make me a bowl of cereal and top it off with bananas and other fruits, best way to eat cereal

Love blueberries 😊

But that does take up at least half of our daily calorie requirements. It’s a problem if we are trying to do calorie deficit to lose weight

A healthy breakfast begins the journey
It's tasty 🤤🤤
Life changing advice

What were those seeds?
Love the idea of adding instead of taking away! I started doing this when I added LyfeFuel's plant-based protein to my breakfast smoothies.
That part about GI health benefits was spot on! I've noticed an improvement since incorporating more plant-based options like LyfeFuel.
No it is subttacting. Your degree isnt something i want my taxes to pay for.

As a diabetic, I'm not sure, my blood sugar goes up with everything 😅
I disagree what if a man is a crack head but wants to stop do you just tell him to ad a strawberry?
I have galaphobia, so what would you say is a good substitute for milk in this cereal bowl?
looks more yummy too
