    Convince me 90% of these comments praising the diet aren't just ai-generated because the word "keto" is in the title. It's the exact same thing as tweeting about losing your nfts in the middle of nft-mania a few years ago that would result in a million bots telling you contact X person with Y details to get them back.

  2. I am 90% keto. I am Keto-Veg-Fruit diet. No sugar. No artificial sugar. No wheat. I sometimes sweeten with fruit and use some fruit and full cream milk so not always in keto. I am mad food experimenter. My body wants some fruit. I listen to my body. Works for me! Keto is excellent diet. I rarely listen to $studies$ these days – too much vested interests.

  3. I eat lots of healthy carbs like, beans , lentils , chickpeas, fruits and vegetables and fiber. The only carbs that I avoided are Bread, flours, grapes, red meat, eggs, milk, cheese, vegetable oils, rice , potato chips, candy, soda, fruit juice, chocolate bars, Cookies, fried food, etc….

  4. I have noticed that every time that I eat saturated fat and I do keto diet I noticed that I have a strong smell in my sweat; on the contrary, when I eat fruits and vegetables and legumes like beans and lentils and low fat diet my sweat doesn't smell bad

  5. I appreciate your balanced report on this. I am doing what I call a "keto-ish" eating plan. So far, the scale is not reliable to determine my release of fat. I do know I am awake later at night, peeing a lot, and having tons of energy. I wear a CGM so I know my blood glucose has been great. I have to be careful of my kidneys though too.

  6. I had to face an operation on my snappy left thumb, very hurting. I didn’t t want to have that so I checked channels of physiotherapists and one of them recommended a 3 month Keto diet. So I did! And 3 weeks later all symptoms are gone! Also my pain in my right knee, gone! I don’t feel tired after lunch anymore, feel good, asthma is lower too and I feel god. Operation canceld! Meanwhile I had a cheat week, eating carbs like croissant and pasta, feeling good, but I want ongoing loosing some weight, till now 6 kg lost, I am 65, female, living in Bavaria, Germany. Thinking back like our anchestor used to nurture, there were times of carbs, after harvesting and times of no carbs during winter or spring times. So we are still in this mode, Sugar and white flour was never in our blueprint 😀. I don’t feel hungry while being in Keto -and loose weight! My best decision ever!

  7. Insulin resistance is a normal adaptation on low carb or ketogenic diet, in order to spare glucose for obligate users.

    That’s why some people fail oral glucose tolerance test when eating low carb. But if they reintroduce carbs a few days before the test, they get normal response to glucose.

  8. Sorry they can take their “study” and stick it. Carnivore and Keto is literally the best thing to happen to thousands of people and more and more each day are waking up and realizing it. It’s the way we should’ve always been eating ALL along.

  9. I think there are healthy ways to do keto. My wife is pesco-vegetarian and does keto. Most of her fats come from olive oil, nuts, and avocados. She does eat about 1 tbl. spoon of grass fed butter per day for c15. In moderation animal fats are healthy same with honey and maple syrup.

    She still eats a lot of plant proteins like tofu, lupin flour, nuts, hemp / pumpkin seed powder, and pea protein (yogurt / mock meat).

  10. Since Keto and/or Carnivore diets are becoming very popular, they're trying to discredit them so that people keep eating what actually harms us: carbs. It’s impossible that cavemen could have developed eating the amount of carbs we consume today—simply because they didn’t have access to them. So how did they feed themselves? They hunted and gathered fruits, roots, and plants The sweet fruits we have now were genetically modified to be so sweet that we crave them, because wild fruits are sour or bitter, very small, and full of seeds. A wild strawberry is about 1 cm in diameter and quite sour. So it’s obvious they filled their bellies with what they hunted or fished. Therefore, eating the amount of carbs we consume today is unnatural. That’s why we get sick.

  11. It's not cheating though is it. It's avoiding certain substances that people like YOU have been telling us to avoid for decades. Ie: sugar etc. That's why Keto exists. Now it's dangerous and can kill us? How about you all put your heads together and decide on a diet that is actually healthy and will not kill you. I think we'd all appreciate it.

  12. So eating Avocado, Salmon, Strawberries and Salad is killing me while I feel tremendous, look tremendous and my blood work has never been better? I think I am headed for an early grave.. Guess it's back to Krispy Cream huh Doc?
