  1. Cold showers are supposed to be taken pre workout. Some benefits include increased dopamine, serotonin, growth hormone, and shock proteins which can boost energy and motivation acting as a natural pre workout and assist muscle growth post session. The notion of cold showers post workout is a big misconception which can actually slightly hinder muscle growth.

  2. THE GOAL IS TO KEEP THE PUMP/SWELLING FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, your muscles will be filled up with blood that carries all the nutrients needed for faster repair
So why to fight against inflammation and soreness it’s actually a good sign
But people are complicated there’s a reason they are working so hard on population reduction

  3. The recovery is what makes muscle grow (if we’re talking about the same recovery) when wou work out muscles they cells get torn apart, then when they regenerate and connect back together there is more room for new cells making more muscle. Think of muscle as rubber bands. Working out breaks down those rubber bands, leaving more room for more cells to grow back. When those cells grow back, the extra cells make more rubber bands, getting the muscle bigger.
