What is the KETOVORE Diet? Your Next Step??

KETO is working for millions of people, but some seem to stall on weight-loss after a few months of a vegetable-heavy keto diet. A Ketovore diet is a great option, full of delicious, nutrient-dense fatty-meat. This video gives you a head start on moving to a ketovore diet.

The carnivore diet works great for 100,000’s of people, but many miss the flavor/taste provided by some plants. Ketovore is a great option to add flavor back into your diet while keeping the carbohydrate count very, very low.

  1. Dr, you always give out a list of foods that are part of the "carnivore diet", which usually includes meat, eggs, some types of cheese, animal derived products. But, you never mention… MILK! MILK is from animals, animal derived products. So, my question to you. Is MILK part of a carnivore menu?
    Thank YOU!

  2. I tried keto one week and was on the bathroom floor sweating and almost passing out. Did I do something wrong? The first week of carnivore I felt great but was getting tired of butter. Any suggestions?

  3. Sounds like a carnivore diet. I thought the carnivore diet was simply none to as few carbs that you can get. Now it seems like you're saying the ketovore diet is lowering the carbs. But how can you do that if the carnivore diets goal is zero carbs.

  4. I’m almost 81. Struggled with carnivore. Need to lose 20#. I have found a Ketovore for Seniors cookbook that I’m looking forward to beginning when I get home from vacation. Im avoiding 2° temperatures at home vs FL 74°. 😊

  5. I’ve done keto before felt great. I started carnivore diet. Few weeks ago and I am struggling. I’m getting major meat aversion. I never had that before. I don’t want meat and eggs at all anymore. It took me to omad. One small meal a day. I need to make a change. I’m gonna try ketovor. Cause this isn’t pleasant at all. I didn’t think this would happen.

  6. I'm a 77 year old woman who tried carnivore for a year and a half. I got bored and could no longer afford buying steaks or other cuts of meat. I eat mostly ground beef now and added back cheese, onion, and condiments I add to tuna to make tuna salad that I spoon onto pork rinds. It's different when you're older, in my opinion. Also am enjoying popcorn again made with coconut oil and salt. I'll see how that pans out over the next few weeks.

  7. I have been going back and forth for extended amounts of time Ketovore/carnivore, and for me, Ketovore is easy to stick to. I've easily given up all veg, but especially in the summer, I crave some small amounts of fruit here and there. I also love the way olive, avocado, coconut, and mct oil make me feel as well as beef tallow and ghee at 70 years of age I have a lot of energy and it makes sense good oils are the best burning fuels for humans. But here is the thing that keeps me going the most, and it subdues my fruit cravings. Zivia soft drinks, it is my NOT guilty pleasure and with my coffee with real cream and stevia as well. All this makes me so content and happy, and then it's not at all difficult to maintain it.

  8. Thoughts about going from Carnivore to ketovore? I just wasn't planning to stick with carnivore my whole life. I am almost to my goal weight, feel amazing and enjoying carnivore but would like to change it a bit. I am thinking keto or ketovore. Would this still help me lose weight. make me gain a bit, or plateau my progress? Or is everyone different and I just need to try it. Thank you

  9. After six months lion diet and a year carnivore, I have had my MS symptoms go almost completely away, and I'm back to my high school weight of 180 lbs (6-3 male). Going forward, I have switched to ketovore, but I have kept approaching like I did before. I'm only eating beef, eggs, and occasional bacon, but to keep it fun, I added in wild greens and berries because I've been a forager for many years and missed it. So a typical meal for me might be a pound of ground beef with diced up dock, nettles, dandelions or collard greens, and maybe an egg or two and a splash of milk to make a sauce. Then some sea salt. I feel the same as when I was a pure carnivore, but now I have an excuse to walk the hills behind my home.

  10. This is a wonderful video on how humans have really eaten over their time on earth. Anthropologists know how ancient humans have used meat, plants and not used grains. There is a well known carnivore that makes demonstratively false statements that make sense, but just aren’t true. Doctor tells it like it is here. Good job.

  11. Did keto for three month, fell of the wagon ate a potatoe blood sugar went 13.3 I’m not diagnosed as diabetic, next second, pancreas damage from high blood sugars. Now back in and pain reduced already.

  12. I'm new to this carnivore/ketovore concept. I did keto for a year and improved my health and weight a lot. Dropped keto for almost two years and got to a point worse than before. Started keto again last September and been improving, but not as fast as expected. I'm considering the ketovore concept, but I need to fully understand this before proceeding. I consume C8 MCT oil often, and I'm wondering if I could continue using it while on ketovore. Like if I'm eating a lean steak, add it instead of the butter🤔

  13. Just did my one. Month measurements. I’ve gained inches! I am NOT cheating, doing high fat and salt in my meat! Gained weight too, but I know not to worry too much about this. But for gaining inches, what is going on? Any help please?

  14. Amazing results everyone is having! It's inspiring to see how many lives have been positively impacted by this approach to eating. I'm excited to try ketovore and see if it helps me break through my plateau as well.

  15. Do you have any information on akathisia every time I try to go into ketosis it gets 1 million times worse. The only thing that is kind of suppressing it as high dose caffeine that I drink in a latte every morning on the barn scale I am rated at a nine.

  16. I’m 3 wks in to ketovore and I’ve noticed a few positive changes (mostly weight loss) but I’m noticed a lot of negative effects (muscle/bone pain, fatigue/weakness, diarrhea, bad body odor). Despite drinking lots of water, taking unflavored LMNT, mag supplement, i feel like 💩! I’m doing to this help rid myself of SIBO and to stabilize my go system which has always been messed up. Any suggestions?!

  17. I have a question. If we don't need carbs, why do we have issues balancing electrolytes when we don't have enough carbs? Every time I go too low, I have issues. If I include even one orange or handful of grapes, maybe some roasted organic green beans with my meal, I am fine. If I don't, it's terrible. What am I doing wrong?
