    Encouraging me to go up to the next weight (11->14) was fantastic too. I noticed that I felt this in my forearms more than anywhere else – e.g. it was a real effort to maintain my grip on the weight through the first half of the second set.

    What should I do – form or exercise – to help improve this weighted grip strength?

  2. Hi I got a question. So there are weights lying around the house and I thought I'd get into dumbbell exercises. However it's just a pair of 1.25 kg plates and the rest are 10 lbs (so around 4.5 kg) each. What would be the progression given those are the only ones we have here?

    Like, just do the 2.5 kg, then switch to 9 kg, then 11.5 kg, then finally 18 kg? It feels like a large jump from 2.5 to 9. 😅

  4. Note to self: great 30 min sesh to throw on. First set: used 12s for lower and some upper- otherwise 8s. Second set: added my hand 1lbs to the 12s and then 12s for upper. Would do this again. Feeling froggy? Do twice for 60 min. But this time added a 10 min abs/core. …it made me smile when I saw a toy maybe come into the shot. Guessing a child may have been on set. 😄

  6. This is so good for home workouts. People need to realise that 30 minutes, dumbbells (and maybe abench) is enough for a solid physique. I got a full workout split based off of those from HermQ and my physique has never looked better (I mean nothing David Laid level crazy but youd definitely think I go to a gym)

  7. Im here in 2026. Y'all have great workouts when I dont feel like being at the gym. Weights are so critical for me being plus sized , navigating peri menopause, and being a high impact leader. I love weight training and have for years. Thank Y'all

  9. I love your workouts, but I have trouble with my back posture. I always end up with a little pain in my lower back everytime I do strenght workouts (of any kind).
