The EXACT workout program to take you from average to jacked (no matter your starting point)

Mike Mentzer old school approach
Super based video and I totally agree. I spent almost 10 years going to the gym >5 days a week but failed to get proper rest and nutrition and I saw minimal results. Then I changed to lifting 3-4x/week and getting proper rest+nutrition and within 1.5 months starts seeing body transformation. And walking 100% leans you out. GREAT advice. Thanks!
So strong! Thank you!
@averagetojacked but the prob w eating wholefoods to satiety w/o tracking is —is exact that —Not getting enough Protein !
"get sunlight"
me living in Algeria 🔥🔥🔥
Hey
yesayh. unoziya iwe
This is absolutely spot on. When I was younger and working out 6 days a weak and split workout to twice a day I got burned out and plateaued and hurt. Got hurt bc I was overtraining and this is a real danger. Listen to this young man cause its good advice. You can get in GREAT shape with 3 or 4 workouts a week no more than 60-80 mins max each. Plus the walking he recommended is excellent also. The most important part is what you EAT. Anyway spot on – do what he suggests and you Will get fit as a fiddle.
That's one of the best videos I watched about staying fit. Thank you for making it this simple.
I agree with the premise to a certain degree.
You shouldn't think everyone which doesn't have results is just lazy, people are very different and while i completeley agree the fitness industry like every industry is trying to sell you whatever it can, some people might get a lot of help from certain supplements, that said most will never know what could really help them.
I've been in the gym 6 years now, i've seen people get into really good shape in a couple and people struggling with not much of a progress for more than 5 and i think it takes even more willpower for them to see little result and still finding the strength to keep trying.
People i mind you which eat well, surely better than me and probably better even than the guys that got into shape quickly.
Mother nature is a bastard and genetics are king, that is the sad truth, some people will struggle all they're life not to be obese while others will keep thin without much effort, the prey are the one who keeps struggling.
And sure, there are tons of people which just don't put the effort and try the shortcuts, but people aren't usually stupid, just desperate.
I only work out about 2x times a week about an hour each full body to failure workouts and walk to work and get 10k steps a day and i feel way better than all the other things ive tried so i just stick with it
as a female, this was some good info lol
Google genetics
It's also highly, highly dependent on genetics
To have your body look that good you have to do the hard work 💪
7h sleep is tough
I use calorie tracking but use whole foods also because im 6ft1 and 248lbs. I have terrible control around food and absolutely lose control and gain or maintain wieght if i dont track
I am not sure but I like to swim and I have possibility to swim for free and would it be nice to go to the gym 2 times a week and swinming 2 times?
People with good genetics always make it look and sound so easy
My friend is a Dr of Physical Therapy and if you're just trying to be healthy and capable, you can get away with one full body or a upper/lower split of lifting, running, and mobility work like yoga. That intensity comment is the biggest key. Just work hard, eat well and recover. Strength comes with consistent hard work and nothing is going to shortcut that without ruining your health. If you have to ruin your longevity to look the way you want, what's the point?
Me working night shifts 😂
When I was in my early 20's I unloaded FedEx trucks early in the morning and then go to college in the am. I got so jacked from that and did not even notice because I didn't even care. I look at pictures and can't believe it came from that. I did workout out sometimes after work but that was it!
maybe eat some vegetables? be as physically fit as you can but you will not live as long and disease free as someone who eats mostly vegetables.
Agreed…. It’s not complicated but it takes motivation …. And DISCIPLINE!
You are also twenty something.
Bro your physique is awesome! Great video btw
first rule of health and fitness: exercise your heart! you can be healthy without being "jacked", but you can't be healthy with a bad heart. These guys promote nothing but lift lift lift, but probably can't run 50 yards, do cardio people, the heart is the most important muscle in the human body. FYI, the brain is very important, but not a muscle
5:00 Is there an optimal time to get sunlight?
Maybe some vegetables?
That's a question that I've had for a while now. Why are we rejecting vegetables now? Almost every fitness person I've seen on the internet now either rejects vegetables completely or would just eat some very specific ones.
I do all that and take supplements (creatine, D2+k2, magnesium glycinate, omega 3, etc) my kidney stone all melted away and my yearly lab report gets better and better, now other than slightly higher LDL, everything else is perfect, liver, kidney, all back to prime shape
What if we have a job that requires us to be up before the sunrise?
Please help I weigh 85kg I train 5 days a week and do cardio I have been in a 900 cal deficit for 2 weeks. I scan all my food in the cronometor app and I have lost nothing
Ya I am hard I mean it is hard to work out
I have been consistently working out for 4 years, but my true results have started around 8 months ago when one of my gym trainers started to push me to work harder, less repetitions, more power and strength, and that literally changed everything. I used to avoid pushing "too hard" and focused too much on getting my number of repetitions perfect. Even though I did hit the gym on a regular basis and I did have some results, I could see the real change when I learned how to work out better and more intensely. As they say, just discipline by itself won't take you there, you also gotta do it right, otherwise you will be consistent in doing something the wrong way!
Have you attempted a Fullbody workout split?
Thank you!
wow amazing guide
nice video 🙂
Great message and ANTI-Grift is goated.
Life in general is not complicated. Be honest, especially with yourself. Be consistent, be productive, be humble, and consistently try to improve.
Being a person that does these things is a to be a virtuous person, and that requires inner strength, not tricks.
To be honest, when I start to workout less days I got more progress then working out 6 days everyweek.
6:20 Ladies, this is more like how you ought to be dressing in the gym. A woman like that get's respect, instead of wearing SaranWrap for leggings. Guys might like what they see, but you'll likely just get used up.
Most people do not know this, but one of the most effective things you can do to lose weight, is to choose the right music. Hanson. Listening to Hanson burns 10x calories of other music. 🥸 I know because I am a music listener.
Getting fit is hard, staying fat is even harder
At least i got one right but maybe a little too much. 10 hours of sleep😂
Ive been going to the gym for 3 years: 3x a week, between 60 and 90 minute full body workouts. No distraction, no music; max intensity. Alway done with the right form and right speed. No diet, just eating healthy, as you should.
I went from a twig that snapped in the wind, to be able to deadlift 150kg. That makes me happy.
No its not 500kg like people on the internet, but thats not needed.
When I started having kids and less time to train, I started doing shorter workouts with higher intensity, 2 to 3 times week. After some months I was suprised at the best results of my life so far.
