  2. I’ve lost about a stone , thru intermittent fasting ( 14:10).. still eat carbs as I am a vegetarian. but I have reduced them. Ditched gluten ( best thing ever), and adopted a south East Asian food model.
    I bowl of rice , with veggies,, stew , tofu.. feel great.. trying to exercise more..
    be great to get tips from people who have lost more than a stone, on how they did it.. ❤

  3. Low carb is fantastic if you are insulin resistant. But if you can handle carbs and have a normal metabolism then maintaining a calorie deficit is probably the easiest way of loosing weight. This is still a truth with a modification however, but it's true enough.

  4. I'm a vegan my diet is the right diet. I used to eat meat and my cholesterol was off the charts…

    Im a carnivore, my diet is the best. I used to eat vegan but I got sick and diabetic.

    Noooo im a raw food whole food plant based eater. The both of you are wrong. You need to eat only raw foods and juices, this is the only way to eat

  5. Mans is so right and so wrong. Calories deficit? U mean functional starvation? Pass. You want to burn fat you DO/SHOULD cut carbs because without the high presence of sugar your body burns fat and its hard to get/be fat when you're burning fat all day everyday for energy. Mans is stuck on calorie deficit dogma

  6. Lol, I eat meat, Bread, Maize, and I still lost weight with my slow metabolism.

    People should eat whatever they like, just prepare it in a healthy way. Instead of fried meat, grill, boil or put it on the fire.

  7. Only in the western world, carbs are seen as the enemy or some type of poison. I live in South East Asia where we eat 80% carbs. Basically lots of rice bread noodles. Yet barely anyone is obese. Its just calories in calories out. Its that simple.

  8. Thing is if you are eating low carb at a calorie deficit then your body will be burning fat for energy so you will loose fat. Just don't cut them down to 0g you will feel horrible. Source: my waistline

  9. Stop with the get rich quickly schemes. Fastest isn’t what matters – easiest and most effective is what matters because humans are subject to laziness, quitting, bad habits, temptations, addictions and so forth.

    Low carb diets are easy and effective because they regulate blood sugar, which removes intense cravings, and they permit generous meal sizes, which removes hunger.

    In the absence of carbohydrates, the human body stops storing energy in the form of body fat and it starts consuming stored body fat in order to supply energy to the body, causing rapid weight loss – especially when combined with rigorous exercise.

    Carb intake can be increased to slow down or stop weight loss, giving the user complete control, which is a very satisfying and fulfilling way to live.

    The problem with calorie controlled diets is that often the users do not have the will power to stay in control, which is a discouraging way to live.

  10. I started to cut all bad carbs and maintain good level of protein and fiber , with 500 calories deficit in rest day and 200 if I am working out , cut all juices and soda . Lost 43 kg in a year .

  11. Carbs are literally a drug humans do not need carbs for anything like this guy is just talking shit out of his mouth, protein, fat amino acid vitamins water that is all stuff that our body requires carbohydrates our body craves it but it doesn’t need it. It’s just like drugs.
