  1. I totally agree with not going too long without eating, because I had the same issue of over eating if I went more than four hours without eating. I just feel so much better when I eat the normal three meals a day without over eating on any of them.

  2. First of all, we don't need fiber since it's not digestible. Second of all, fat keeps you full way longer than carbs. Third of all, a calorie deficit is complete nonsense. All these so-called doctors and nutritionists will tell you that fat has more calories per gram. That would be true if our bodies burned food like a furnace. The only problem is our bodies.Don't burn food like a furnace. We break
    The food down biochemically. The calorie was invented by scientists by burning little bits of food in a furnace to measure the escaping heat. Therefore, counting calories makes absolutely no sense when it comes to weight loss. I'm doing keto six years already. I eat eggs, full fat milk, full fat dairy, steak, 80% lean chop meat, butter, bacon, and sausage. I do not count calories. Lost 74 pounds in 10 months. My bloodwork is like a 20 year old athlete, and I'm 43. You need to do more homework.

  3. Fiber also is very resistant to digestion which means that although they contain calories, not all those calories are available to us. But fiber is a food source to our gut microbiome. In addition to fiber keeping you satiated, it is also hypothesized that fiber also decreases fat absorption in the gut.

  4. I agree with everything, especially the last part. Eating small meals/snacks will make a difference and keep people from overeating and help with cravings. I do better eating small meals like you do throughout the day instead of fasting and eating big meals. I still lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way. Plus 5-6 small meals a day is generally recommended for metabolism and weight loss. Fiber is so important, and people forget about it, it helps with gut health, staying full longer, and staying regular when going to the restroom.

  6. When I started losing weight on a calorie deficit, I found myself eating way more frequently throughout the day. Less calories of course but the high volume, high fiber, low calorie thing is definitely the way to go

  7. If I eat breakfast it’s a guarantee that I will overeat the rest of my day. I literally have to wait until I’m starving around 7 pm and eat in a 3 to 4 hour window my calories for the day. Idk why I’m like this. I wish I had better control but it has works for me but idk about it helping me gain muscle. We will see I guess

  8. Yep, no matter what diet you apply its ultimately always all about the math…calorie deficit. I eat low carb and intermittent fasting, never feel hungry even when its my 6hr eating window.

  9. In one month I lost 20 ibs from being on a calorie deficit and regular exercising mainly walking and also running. If I ran I would also walk as well and then start jogging after a long walk and would do it for an hour. Also I have been just going on long walks for an hour, two hours, three hours and even up to four straight hours of nonstop walking.

I eat around 700-1000 calories a day 25g fiber and about 40-50g of protein a day and I eat every 3 hours or so, nothing past 7pm, no salt, no sugar, no oil, no dairy, just water, and it’s been about 3 months and I’ve only lost 10lbs and now I’m just stuck. I don’t cheat, I meal prep I weigh my food and just no results 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I’m still over 200lbs 😢 I don’t know why I can’t lose weight

I'm calling myself out here " Why the f%$k did I just watch this" LOL I'm not on a diet, I do not need to lose weight, yet I thought the title of the video was so stupid I had to click…..who doesnt know how to eat in a calorie deficit? It's the opposite of eating in a calorie surplus….my comments might be as dumb as this video but I wanted to relate. Thank you for the effort you put into this video. I just can't believe I watched it and wanted to get my money's worth in the comment section. I once watched a video on how to make a grileed cheese sandwich, so who knows what's next for me. Can you make a video on how to get a life? I'll be 1st in line to watch my man. I just subbed because of this video alone though. Never seen you before, but the whole eating in a deficit got me, so never give up any hope your video won't get someone on board lol. Great job.

  12. It's so funny because the current weight loss gurus want to tell you "protein keeps you full longer". I honestly think it's a case by case. Like some people stay fuller with protein and some stay fuller with fiber. Both are important though.
