I have enjoyed doing vegetarian or vegan keto a lot! Nuts are great for the vegan protein, lots of fats in nuts, so that helps even more.
My favorite ratio is to go heavier on the fats, making sure that I treat carbs and protein the same. Because protein will turn into glucose if you eat too much. We don’t need as much protein as everyone says. Especially if you want to stay in ketosis and have autophagy. Too much protein will stop autophagy.
Don’t eat cheese it’s also high in animal hormones!!!

I do NOT eat dairy like vegans but I eat eggs.
IMO beans are fine to eat in a low carb diet. You can’t just look at the carb number you have to consider fiber and protein. As beans have high amount of both they don’t spike your blood sugar like white bread etc.
What a strange introduction of calling vegetables boring food when the audience is most likely a bunch of vegetarians, who prefer just that.

I did vegetarian keto almost 10 years ago and lost just short of 100lbs in 7 months. My rheumatoid and osteoarthritis never felt better. I felt amazing!

Really odd take on a vegetarian diet, giving advice to eat greens, cruciferous vegetables etc – what the hell vegetarians do you know? Seems like they're junk vego's or something. A basic vegetarian diet nutrition far exceeds the nutrition from eating animals. If someone eats junk food, vegetarian or not, its junk food, and will be deficient. Also around 40% of meat eaters are deficient in B12, typically due to a rooted digestive system.
The problem is a lot of those cheeses aren’t “vegetarian” because they use animal-rennet 😢

Most people who are doing a keto/veg/plant based diet aren’t eating eggs and cheese. Tofu, tempeh provide 20-30gs of protein per packet.
My wife had FooFoo fairy dust stuff. Antibiotic cream soon sorted it out.
