I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👀👇 What’s one piece of women’s fitness advice you’ve always questioned? Drop it below and I might cover it in the next video 😇
"Dont train during your period" is what i hear all the time. My period hurts less and I feel more powerful when i train on my period bruh let me do me. All females are different, for some its bad, for some its good to excercise during their period. For me its better. For some people taking baths during their period feels bad and for some it feels good. My mom hates taking hot baths during her period while i love it.
When I’m luteal, I’m eating a lot of carbs because that’s what I’m craving and my workouts go great. I get a great pump and feel so strong.
Then after that, I reap the rewards of all that food and work I put in. Love the PMS week. I always feel so yoked.
Maybe we can listen to our bodies and not some random girls on internet ? Like wtf you don’t know you ?
What annoys me about the “train with your cycle” thing is that it doesn’t apply to those of us on birth control but no one ever tells you that. Are there really that many women who are not on the contraceptive pill? I always assumed it was around half of women who are taking it, so potentially for about half of women if they are trying to sync activities with their cycle it’s not really doing much at all.
I am short I have to adjust everything. I adjust the car seat as well.
Ngl i cant recover faster😭😭 never understood this "women can recover faster" like bruh i do feel fatigued, give me a break
Lol. This video was recommended under that featured video and i had just watched it😂😂😂
im sorry i paid for gym i will obviously use the machine lol
does anybody have advice for energy during workouts and how to push myself? i find im always tired in the gym and lift the same weight for weeks and weeks. was considering drinking energy drinks but i know they're not great for the heart and i never drink caffeine, would rather better energy sources or tips😄
Before and during my period, I actually feel primed and the urge to exercise. I usually realize my period is coming right when I suddenly find myself in the middle of a super-intense workout. My appetite also increases significantly. So I eat and exercise, eat and exercise all those days 😂
As a guy who spent 46 years avoiding the gym, I absolutely love your content. I really wish I had started working out decades ago and I always learn something from your videos, even in a video like this one that is geared towards women.
About the “made for men’s bodies”, how? Because there are men shorter than me, is it the proportions? I’m a woman but my shoulders are wider than my husband’s so it only makes partial sense
Due to youtubes algorithm I feel like if you don't say "science based" your video will get shadowbanned
I’m 5’1 and female and for me personally, I would say it’s both. Even if I adjust the height on some machines, a lot of machines that involve targeting the upper body are made for broader shoulders, wider waistlines, and more narrow legs that are seen more frequently in male bodies so I would say gender is definitely a factor. Although height is something I struggle with more frequently than the gender issue because I constantly have to adjust the height on machines that I use
Absolute bs I train like a bloke at 52 none of these shitty girlie so called excersise im ripped
Another note on cycles:
If you are on hormonal birth control you DO NOT have normal hormone cycles.
It varies depending on the type, but you do not ovulate, and it’s closer to being in the luteal phase the entire month.
Good god! DO NOT SUPPLEMENT IRON unless it is determined it's needed by a doctor, is prescribed and is monitored. 😮
"Research"- just shows a bunch of youtube videos lol
Thanks for the info, I really enjoyed the video!! Are you a CPT?
ultimately it’s best to just train like an individual. know your own body and your own goals and plan your exercise routine around that
